“Silent Spring”-birth of the modern environmental movement

  • Summary

  • Well the ladies are starting off Earth Month giving us a quick introduction into Rachel Carson and the impact she had on Presidents Kennedy and Nixon. With her work she helped to provide compelling arguments that led to the creation of environmental policies and eventually the Environmental Protection Agency. As we know the impacts of Climate Change are already being seen in the Globalized South and here in our own backyard. Khadija will discuss why so many Millennials and Gen Z are not having kids and how much if that is connected to the current environmental crisis. There is of course our responsibility to discuss the current Bravo breakdowns and even a little history lesson for all you Bravo fans out there. We even give a little hot take on March Madness and women’s basketball. What more could you want in an episode?!
