  • Summary

  • Jackie Lapin helps leaders grow their online and live audiences by getting booked faster, easier, and in more places.  Here, we talk about springboarding your business using live and virtual speaking events on multiple platforms. Jackie was one of the first female sports writers in America, and she then segued into having one of the largest sports special events and PR companies in the United States with a world-class client list. Jackie later rebranded her agency as Conscious Media Relations, where she does radio podcast tours for authors, leaders, and experts.

Today, Jackie also runs SpeakerTunity, a speaker and leader resource company that gives people contacts where they can book themselves across a number of different platforms. Her clients book everywhere, including radio shows, podcasts, virtual summits, live and virtual stages, and even TEDx stages. Jackie and I discuss some first steps to take if you’re thinking about booking speaking gigs yourself. We also talk about overcoming stage fright, the types of programs to sell during speaking events, and why how writing a book can help you book more stages.
