  • Summary

  • You're listening to David Alfie Ward, Bi Polar and I.

Most of will have a mental health problem at some point in our lives. Comedian and actor David Alfie Ward has bipolar disorder.

In this 3-part series, David talks to his good friend and therapist in training Lara Cross, about the highs and lows of his mental health journey.

Together they discuss David's childhood, first battles with depression, hypersexuality, over-drinking, breakups, over-spending, arrests, and suicide attempts, before finally getting a diagnosis and learning to live with a mental health condition.

By sharing his experiences, David hopes that he can help others realise that they are not alone and that things can - and do - get better.
