TW this episode discusses topics including eating disorders.
My guest this week is Holly Lucatello. Holly is a personal trainer and online coach, focusing on women's health.
Holly worked for one of the UK’s biggest fashion brands before taking the leap three years ago to set up her own business. She works with a holistic programme, focusing on building strength, empowerment and confidence, free from diet talk and body shaming. Holly shares her own journey online and is brilliant at helping women to feel amazing both physically and mentally.
This episode dives into topics that I don’t think we were taught enough about at school, including how to look after your health and what happens during the different stages of your menstrual cycle. We also discuss Holly’s path to working at ASOS, the internal battles she faced growing up, how she used what she went through to help other women, the steps to take if you are looking to change your career, the benefits of exercise that go beyond physical appearance, if we should train differently during the four stages of our cycle, why protein is key, why we should all be strength training, how to set fitness goals and how we can all achieve balance when it comes to our health and fitness.
This episode is filled with loads of great knowledge and I hope you take something away from it!
