The question around why people overeat (or, more specifically, why I overeat) is one that plagues a lot of us. Why do we eat to the point of discomfort? Why do we eat when we're not hungry? Why can't we stop eating once we've started?
These are all great questions, and there's no simple answer. Like most things, the answers to these questions will vary wildly depending on each individual person, their history, circumstances, genes, lifestyles, and so much more.
But in the meantime, it's at least worth talking about why people overeat. My goal for you in this episode is to shed some light on things that could be happening in your life, giving you a starting point to explore with curiosity and find solutions to help you overcome overeating, if that's a relevant goal for you.
