050 | Advice for Badasses

  • Summary

  • In this final episode of season two, I share my top ten pieces of advice for badasses. These are tips or recommendations to help you live your best and most badass life.

This episode is the partner episode to last week's episode where I talked about seven basics to master to set you up for success when it comes to your health and wellness.

    This week's advice includes:

    1. Get really real about where you are, what you want, and why you want what you want.
    2. Break down the big goals into a series of smaller goals, then identify habits or actions to help you achieve those smaller goals.
    3. Choose metrics that matter.
    4. Don’t do things you hate.
    5. If you don’t have a good relationship with food, take the steps to fix that.
    6. Learn the trade before the tricks.
    7. Give yourself plenty of grace while you’re learning to do things in a way that best supports you in feeling like your best and most badass self.
    8. Remember that you have more control than you think you do.
    9. Seek a variety of perspectives.
    10. Find the joy in every day.

Check out the complete episode to hear my thoughts on these things. I also go into more detail about what's next for me now that the podcast is going on summer vacation and what the plan is (so far) for when the podcast (tentatively) returns in the fall.
