Germany’s Alex Wright made history when he became the youngest wrestler to ever be signed to World Championship Wrestling’s talent roster in 1994. Brought on board by ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff after unexpectedly working a show for the promotion during its European tour that year, Wright would go on to become one of WCW’s most consistent talents during his seven-year run with the company, winning the Television, Cruiserweight and Tag Team Championships. Alex joins 'Wrestling Life with Ben Veal' to talk about his memories of WCW, his enduring friendship with Marc 'Johnny B. Badd' Mero, what happened with the Berlyn character, why he didn't sign with WWE after the WCW buyout, and his passion for training the next generation through ‘The Wright Stuff’ wrestling school and New European Championship Wrestling promotion.
