  • मुंशी प्रेमचंद की लिखी हुई कहानी कफन का यह दूसरा भाग है इसमें रात के सोए हुए थे तब माधव अपनी पत्नी को देखकर आता है कि वह मर गई है उसके पेट में बच्चा मर गया है तो रोयाविलाप करते हैं। तब यह रोना धोना सुनकर गांव के अन्य लोग आते हैं स्त्रियां आती है और वह भी रोटी है अब यह दोनों कफन के लिए जमीदार साहब के पास जाते हैं जमीदार साहब ने ₹1 निकाल कर फेंक दिया और इस ₹1 की दुहाई देखकर जी सुने बहुत से लोगों से पैसे लिए और ₹5 उसके पास जमा हो गए और अब वह कफ़न लेने चले हैं बाजार में देखिए अब आगे क्या होता है।
