About this listen
When a boy under Jonathan Grave's protection dies of a drug overdose, the black-ops veteran decides it's time for a war on drugs that actually looks like a war.
Jonathan Grave long ago lost faith with the so-called war on drugs, a futile campaign that enables cartels to make billions under the protection of corrupt officials on both sides of the border. But when a twelve-year-old dies after consuming fentanyl disguised as candy inside the dormitory at Resurrection House, the school he created for the children of incarcerated parents, Jonathan knows it's time to use his special talents to change the game.
Gathering his Security Solutions team, Jonathan activates Operation Heat Seeker. Nobody and nothing will stop them from ending the flow of poison—not even a vow of revenge from the President of the United States himself . . .

Sensational thriller to the very last
I've been devouring the Jonathon Grave series over the past three weeks, and I’m utterly captivated! After diving into the first book, "No Mercy," I was immediately hooked. Each installment is packed with non-stop action and explosive plots that leave you wondering how the characters will ever escape each disaster. The way they navigate one setback after another to outsmart the villains is nothing short of exhilarating.
This latest novel certainly lived up to my expectations with its cast of intriguing antagonists. I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness knowing I’ll have to wait until next year to see if the good guys prevail against the current administration and whether Irene Rivers will join the team? The author has done a remarkable job of developing their characters’ personalities, and I truly appreciate the witty, dry humor that resonates so well with my Aussie sensibilities.
A big shoutout to the narrator, too! Their ability to masterfully handle the different accents adds an incredible layer to the listening experience. Bravo!
