About this listen
It all starts as pretend.
To everyone else, Hunter is the most powerful man in New York. Respected by his associates and feared by his competitors.
But to me? He's just my best friend. my sexy-as-hell best friend.
It was easy to agree to help him fake a romance.
After all, who knows him like I do? Convincing his tight-knit family takes a little more: An unexpected kiss that makes my skin sizzle, my knees go weak.
Before I know it, our banter turns to flirting and Hunter's hell-bent on charming me. On our first night together, we barely keep our hands off each other. Our second night together is intense and alluring and it lights me on fire.
How can I pretend I'm not falling for real?

Great story
Enjoyed the chemistry between Joseph and Hunter. Hunter is a sucessful businessman who has been in the states for most of his life. The only way he sees he can stay in the states is to marry his best friend Josie. Sounds like a doable plan until they kiss

Frustrating
Was getting over Josie constantly having doubts, or them not telling each other how they were feeling, it was a slow drag and a little frustrating, but I love Layla Hagen’s books, but this one wasn’t her best, but will definitely still listen to the rest of the series.
