So accurate.
It felt like it had been written for me. So validating to hear someone else say what you have known for years but struggled to fully accept.

Love this book!
This is a warm, entertaining but informative look at narcissistic mothers and their impact on their children. The author gives simple, practical tips for maintaining healthy boundaries and refreshingly, doesn’t encourage the child of the narcissistic mother to forgive or understand them. I recommend this to so many people!

Got more out of the first half
I have listened to many books on this topic. This one has been my favourite so far. Only negative is the EFT program in the second half, I struggled to get through those sections as I don't feel that they will work for me. Otherwise first half of book was very helpful.

Wow. This book describes my mother and my own experiences.
This book was a real eye opener. It has helped me see just how my mother has been treating me all my life. At the moment I am living with her as her carer. But I dream of being free from her one day.
