Publisher's Summary
The Internet isn't all cat videos. There's also Felicia Day - violinist, filmmaker, Internet entrepreneur, compulsive gamer, and former lonely homeschooled girl who overcame her isolated childhood to become the ruler of a new world...or at least semi-influential in the world of Internet geeks and Goodreads book clubs.
After growing up in the South, where she was 'homeschooled for hippie reasons', Felicia moved to Hollywood to pursue her dream of becoming an actress and was immediately typecast as a crazy cat-lady secretary.
But Felicia's misadventures in Hollywood led her to produce her own web series, own her own production company, and become an Internet star.
Felicia's short-ish life and her rags-to-riches rise to Internet fame launched her career as one of the most influential creators in new media. Now Felicia's strange world is filled with thoughts on creativity, video games, and a dash of mild feminist activism - just like her memoir.
Hilarious and inspirational, You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) is proof that everyone should embrace what makes them different and be brave enough to share it with the world because anything is possible now - even for a digital misfit.

Where does You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is a very funny take on this lovely ladies life. She is very funny and engaging.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It is an autobiography so Felicia Day.
What does Felicia Day bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
She brought her inflections to her own words which leaves nothing to misinterpretation.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes I found it hard to stop listening
Any additional comments?
I love this girl and love her book. It does lose its way a little toward the end where she starts talking about the whole cyberbullying thing and stops talking about her very funny life.

So good
I've been a fan of Felicia Day since the guild was first uploaded on YouTube during a time when I had my own WoW addiction. This book was funny and inspiring and got me though a work day I really didn't want to do. And also made me feel more ok with my weird. The PDF is also hilarious.

If you really like The Guild web series then this is as absolute no brainer. If you haven't heard of it, go watch it and then come back and get this book.

Awesome!
I pretty much always enjoy listening to a book read by its author. There's something a little more genuine to it.
The book itself is amazing... Just buy it already.
