Tonia completed her Ph.D. (ABD) work in Organizational Psychology, and for over two decades, blended her academic theories with real-world operational execution in large organizations in the USA. As a vice president in two different energy companies, Tonia created organization-wide talent strategies, coached executives, and developed effective programs for in-house training. Tonia has a strong bias for action, but only the action that leads to desired results. Her motto is “If nothing changes then nothing actually changes”.
Roger spent more than 35 years in Canadian academia and industry as an organizational development specialist focusing on individual and team performance. Like Tonia, Roger shunned the traditional approach by combining a consultative problem solving with customized, on-field training. His motto is: The way out of the room is via the door. How do so many people miss that?
Tonia and Roger crossed paths in 2011 during a stint at an international energy company and partnered in a successful leadership development experiment, where the executive team was the faculty, and the entire organization was the student body.
