Insightful, healing and thought provoking
Great to hear this book read by the author. Learned a bit more about Indigenous traditions, their history and spiritual practices. I love the reflection questions in each chapter and guided journeys helping to integrate the teachings in this book. I learned about ways to connect with ancestors and how to journey with different animal spirits. I have been revisiting the journey exercises after finishing the book and find them helpful and meaningful in my own life. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Indigenous wisdom and learning new practices and ways of thinking that hopefully will help us take better care of the Earth, animals and each other.
