About this listen

Maulkin and his Eternal buddies are on a roll. They're getting stronger, have two of the shards that will help prevent the return of an evil god, and even have a good idea where to find the rest.

Maybe Maulkin has taken a month off to hang out with his new elven girlfriend and learn how to swing his giant sword around, but hasn't he earned a holiday?

His reluctance to get out there and smack monsters definitely has nothing to do with the evil looking Voidgod powers that he's scared of telling the others about.... Or with Araphel's imminent return.... Or with having to fight a primordial dragon from the dawn of time....

Everything is fine. Shut up.

Fairly enjoyable

See my review on book, one just had to do a little extra on the voices as it finally occurred to me the Elvin voices …they all sound like professor Snape from Harry Potter…. And the character Mercy sounds like Jason Stratham … now, some character in the Faun enclosure sounds like a very annoying Muppet or Sesame Street carrot. Once again, I’m fast forwarding because I can’t stand it really annoying to not be able to listen to the story due to the voices being over the top.

yea it's crap

the consent demand that mercy must no everything and no all his secerts is fucked her freaking out when he kills people is super condescending concidering she has killed just as many people, it's a shit story there's no growth there's no suspense no charter development it's the first book twice I have a feeling book 3 will be the same. why did they have to write the main character as such pussy he never stands by a choice and why the fuck is mercy such a cunt concidering she never makes a choice or helps out in any way she contributes nothing but negativity
