Terrible Narration
Would you try another book written by M. A. Comley or narrated by Charlotte Anne Dore?
Definitely not one narrated by Charlotte Anne Dore
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The mystery of who the "bad guy" was good enough to keep me interested & plough through the horrible narration to find out 'who dunnit' but the narrator made all the characters just sound stupid & annoying

The ex-husband. Didnt really see the point of him or that storyline

Possible the worst narration I have listened too. It was like she was trying too hard to properly pronounce every syllable of every word. It just sounded ridiculously stilted & fake, with odd pauses & weird emphasis on the wrong words

Hard to listen to.
Shocking narrator. Very stilted and intonation was terrible and incorrect. A great plot spoilt by the reader.

sounded like an ai voice
The voice sounded like a computer generated voice it was terrible, I could only take an hour of listening.

really trying to stick with it
the narration is atrocious but the story is intriguing its a constant battle.
this is a book much better read than listened too

A good story
But, sadly, the reader, was terrible!
The most stilted performance I’ve heard so far from an Audible book.
I was sorely tempted to return the book and ask for a refund, but, the story line was interesting, and the ending was not one I could have guessed at.
But, I won’t be buying another book read by Charlotte Anne Dore!

Save yourself, don’t bother
This is undoubtedly the worst book I’ve listened to. The narrator is shocking. Puts emphasis on completely the wrong words and sounds as if it’s being read by AI. The story is repetitive and a ridiculously unbelievable ending. There is a reason this book was free with membership.
