Publisher's Summary
Twenty-eight, single, and struggling to keep her little shop of handicrafts afloat, Zoey Enright is pleasantly surprised when a knockout audition for a home-shopping network lands her an impressive job as an on-air saleswoman. Little does she know, Delaney O’Connor, the company’s CEO, is bringing his only grandson and the hero of Zoey’s childhood, Ben Pierce, home from Europe to run the network.
Ben’s one true passion was Grand Prix racing - until he laid eyes on Zoey again, all grown up and more beautiful than ever. But he also must face his haunted past and the near-fatal accident that brought his driving career to a screeching halt. Confronting painful emotions he crossed an ocean to forget, Ben must barter his old dreams for new ones if he and Zoey are to claim the wonderful future they are meant to share.

Another enjoyable book in this series’s
I am loving these books about the Enright family I love how Mariah adds events from real life. You feel like you can really see places by the way she writes. I drive long hours and Ericas voice has a very pleasant tone I enjoy listening to her.

Zoey and Ben
Ben’s mother helped Zoey’s mother by running the household. Delia was a popular author and Ben’s mother allowed her the time to write and travel to promote her books.
When Ben’s mother died he went to live with his grandfather.
Ben became a racing car driver and travelled the world. He only returned when he had an accident.
Zoey was having trouble finding her niche in the world.
She finally cracked a dream job on a home shopping network.
The network had been bought by Ben’s grandfather.

This is an absolutely DEVINE story!
l LOVED THIS STORY!
I found it chopped full like a goodie basket full of recipes, murder, racing cars, Gardens, home renovation, online shopping, travel, love laughter and a few tears, magnificent scenery all beautifully described. I love expanding my knowledge & Mariah Stewart certainly enlightened me on all these subjects and more.
Erica Sullivan narration brought it all to life. I did enjoy the narrative more when I speeded it up though.
I am looking forward with anticipation to the rest of the series.
Enjoy! 👱🏻♀️😀

Growing characters are lovely to see in this interesting and involving story that involves a not so perfect family.
I enjoyed the characters finding different perspectives to try to deal with their own experiences and surprisingly deep feelings obvious to all but themselves.

How much cliche can one book carry? And it is all sooooo boring!
It isn’t that the writing itself is outstandingly bad, but nor could it be at all described as good. This book seems to be aiming for total cliche-loading, which it achieves. But to what end? What it the point of it? It is all soooo bogglingly boring throughout! In the absence of any creative, poetic or other interest value in the prose, or in the character development, or… anything (!), I waited in vain for some kind of narrative tension or (again!) anything to emerge to offer a shred of listening satisfaction. But no. Not recommended.
