About this listen

The fate of millions of lives hangs in the balance in this new Psy-Changeling Trinity novel from New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh...

Kidnapped as a young girl, her psychic powers harnessed by a madman, Memory lives a caged and isolated existence...until she comes face-to-face with a wolf. Labelled an empath by her bad-tempered rescuer, Memory knows that her 'gift' is nothing so bright. It is a terrible darkness that means she will always be hunted.

But Memory is free now and she intends to live. A certain growly wolf can just deal with it.

Alexei prefers to keep his packmates at bay, the bleak history of his family a constant reminder that mating, love, hope is not for him. But Memory, this defiant and fearless woman who stands toe-to-toe with him awakens the most primal part of his nature -- and soon, he must make a choice: risk everything or lose Memory to a murderous darkness that wants to annihilate her from existence...

Another good listen

Overall, an enjoyable story. I was however disappointed for the first time in the voices. I'm a fan of Nicole Pool as I'm always able to differentiate the characters except in this story. unfortunately, most if not all of the female voices sounded wrong, hard to separate and aging in some instances. as the voices were too deep and raspy.
other than this I loved this story.

Loves it

I didn't want to stop listening for any reason. Not for sleep or work. The story had me grinning like a fool at times and wanting to cry at others. Simply brilliant.

Worth a listen

Not my favourite in this series by far but it was worth the listen. Lots of sad back story for these two characters which was pretty heavy stuff really. I do like the way Angela Dawe narrates this authors books. Gives some more detail moving forward in the goal of rejoining the races which is a good message. Lots of flawed characters with a common goal.

Wonderful.

Nalini Singh never disappoints. Another journey into the Psy-Changeling world. I love the characters, the suspense and romance of the ongoing storyline. The narration is excellent. The only negative is having to wait for the next book in the series.

How the book comes to life.

I love the series, I am so glad I stumbled on the paper version years ago. I didn’t think I would like the audiobook because others are very bland. The lady who does the reading is amazing.

Absolutely amazing

What a really lovely book to listen to
I couldn't get enough of it. With every E that comes into play , the net gets brighter and with memory she is able to fix some areas that are damaged. so looking forward to more.

Amazing

Wolf Rain is like a layer cake, delicious and wonderful, it’s a story that stands on its own but the long time reader will enjoy the layers that are the other characters own ever growing stories.
