I listened to this book whilst sick and my laughter kept sending me into coughing fits. It's only four stars because I wanted a little more character development for the coven, but the jokes are 5 star worthy.

The narrators did a great job, even if Edison’s character felt like an unnecessary drop in for a last ditch at romance. This book was about friendship, and a coven of witches - Edison was truly having a “he’s just Ken” moment.. I agree with other reviewers who felt like they’d missed out on parts of the story. The plot sped through parts and lacked continuity. I’m shocked to find out this is from a seasoned author… all in all, the story is cute and it’s easy listening but it had a lot of unfulfilled potential.

I've listened to molly's "mystic bayou" series and found it absolutely hilarious.
Her wit and writing style is refreshingly funny and even has a small interaction of steam.
This book was well put together but I found it a lot slower moving than "mystic"
Although, Book 1 is always world building so I was taken through the streets full of descriptive shops and people.
The h was sassy and tenacious and finding out she has magic and can see ghosts just rolled through as natural as can be.
A love interest for the h was wonderfully suited and her friends, just as wonderfully eclectic.
The ghosts with their personalities had me belly laughing . There are still. So many avenues to pursue with this series and I'm looking forward to mollys light, joyous craft.
Amanda Ronconi is amazing as always. She was brilliant with all her accents in "mystic" series.
The addition of Teddy Hamilton was a touch of great!
