About this listen
When the world ends, who will tell our story?
After a disease ravages his underground community, Winter escapes with his daughters to the dangerous surface of Earth. With the planet largely abandoned, he has no one to help him make sense of this strange new world while trying to keep his children alive. But the surface is not all complicated artifacts and relics of a deserted universe. Winter is certain someone - or something - is hunting them.
He weaves wild tales to entertain and teach his daughters, turning ordinary Earth inventions into props for wild fairy tales, stories where celebrities become demigods and historical figures transform into ice giants. As his journey grows darker and more dangerous, his mythologies keep his children, and himself, from confusion and despair.
With tensions rising and danger at every corner, will Winter keep his family alive long enough to finish his tales?
Winter's Myths is a multi-season serial currently publishing on Amazon's Kindle Vella. This book covers the first season. Each season will be available in book form upon completion.

Main plot interesting but got over the secondary storyline
I liked the main storyline following Winter, but quickly got over the intersecting myths. The first few were amusing and I’m sure they play a part but I felt like they were filler and took away from the overall story. I stopped listening to this book for a long time because I didn’t want to have to keep listening to the myths, but don’t like to DNF a book. Glad to have finished the main storyline but never warmed to the secondary plot line.
