Excellent

One of the best WW2 historical novels I have listened to. The narrator is brilliant. Very true to historical events as evidenced by the facts. Sad and moving yet always gripping the listener. C J Sansom is a truly remarkable writer. I await for further works by this superb novelist.

Great read if you are interested in the Spanish civil war

It was a great insight into post civil war Spain, some might find it a bit slow but worth it.
