Amazing audio version
I love the way the book was adapted as an audiobook, I was actually waiting for this book to be here since I have all the winter jacket series in hard copy together with the Hunter book. I hope all the Winter Jacket series would be here soon! The narrator was excellent on the voice over and it’s easy to indicate which character is who while the story’s being told. I recommend this book series to lesbian novel fans that want a good chill book to listen to.

Saved by the excellent narration
I assume the point of these stories is the emotional investment we develop in the lead characters. In this story however the lead character was bland, mostly indecisive and mostly unlikeable. A few kinks and twists thrown in to apparently add interest didn’t as they were inconsistent with the otherwise weak and indecisive character.
Normally I would have left after a few chapters but for the excellent Angela Dawe narration, well every cloud ……….
