About this listen

Motherless and raised alongside her brothers, Alanah, a Canaanite, is no stranger to fighting. When her father and brothers are killed in battle with the Hebrews, she disguises herself and sneaks onto the battlefield to avenge her family. The one thing she never counted on was surviving.

Tobiah, a Hebrew warrior, has spent his share of time on the battlefield and is shocked to find an unconscious woman among the casualties. Compelled to bring her to a healer back at the Hebrew camp, he's unprepared for the consequences of what he intended as an act of compassion.

In order to survive, Alanah must unite with her enemy. But will a terrible revelation drive her toward an even greater danger?

Great story wonderful characters but male narrator poor

I loved the book and Sarah Mollo- Christiansen was outstanding in her narration you felt you were part of the scene. 5*However Tim Campbell’s voice was abrupt harsh and bordering on aggressive in its tone and really didn’t match the character of Tobiah, (who from the words was a faithful man of God but he lacked confidence in himself) really ruined it for me as I was jolted out of my imaginations.

Wings of the wind- awesome once again.

Once again beautifully read. The story line was imaginative and I was right there like a spectator walking along with each character. Gasping for air while being swept away in the water as they characters were being hunted down or screaming at the king in the bile temple. But also in love with the love story too. Wonderful work once again !

Wings of the Wind by Connilyn Cossette

A truely well written story bringing into focus a period in the Bible that demonstrates an example of Gods redemption. I very much enjoyed book & totally recommend it.

Thank you for the portraying what life could have been like during the nearly 40 years of exile in the wilderness

Appreciate the way in which you brought in the Manna , the Venomous snakes and the brazen snake on the pole! Etc. But above all the fact that following and reliance on JAWEH brought peace and structure to the lives of the Hebrews!
Looking forward to meeting Rahab and all those whose names are in Hebrews 11 one day when we our Eternal Home!

Beautifully and captivating

A beautiful picture of God’s guiding hand throughout our struggles and unforeseen circumstances. The thoughts and emotions that Alana went through was very relatable and really brought to life the purpose God has in things we think are totally unrelated or random.
