About this listen
The star of summer 2017's number one smash hit novel - Robin Wilde - is back!
Robin Wilde is acing life.
After the year from hell, she's pulled herself up and out of the Emptiness, her love life is ticking along nicely, single motherhood is actually quite fun and she is ready for whatever life throws at her. When a thrilling opportunity at work arises, Robin is more than excited to step up and show everyone, including herself, what she's made of.
But her best friend, Lacey, is increasingly brokenhearted about struggling to conceive, and her daughter, Lyla, is starting to come out with some horrible attitudes she's learning from someone at school. Is Auntie Kath hiding loneliness under her bubbly, loving veneer? And can Robin definitely trust the people she must depend on in her fab new role?
But Robin has her girls. And her girls have got her. Together they can handle any crisis. Can't they?
Life is about to throw quite the curveball at Robin Wilde, and she'll need to make some pretty brave choices if she's going to stop everything she cares about from falling apart....
Get ready for the most hilarious, heartbreaking, uplifting and unforgettable novel of the year!

Fantastically Lovely!
this book had me smiling and teary.....it's as fantastic as the first if not better. Louise has the ability to connect with everyone in her character and in her books even more so. I would highly recommend anything she writes.

tears
listened to this as I'd done the first one already. Cried with the characters during the big moments and laughed at the funny ones. Will definitely be preordering the next book to see where Robyn but mainly Kath end up

Loved this Relatable Read
Amazingly written. Very brave to touch on certain life events. So touchingly and compassionately well written, I was totally feeling Robin’s vibe. This book had me gripped from the get go, I laughed, I cried and I travelled beside Robin as my best friend for a little while and felt a sense of loss when this had to end. I loved the narrator’s style, very engaging and consistent character’s voices.
I’m already recommending it to all 😊

Loved this book!
I absolutely loved this new chapter in Robin’s story. This book was even better than the first, with just as many amazing highs and heartbreaking lows. I love that even though I’m 23 and I have no children of my own, I can relate to Robin on so many levels and she truly feels like a real person. I found myself both crying with her and laughing out loud (legit loling) at her hilarious antics. Thank you Louise for bringing her to life with your writing, and thank you Anna for reading Louise’s words so well.

Disappointed
I thought I’d picked a winner when I read the reviews...what a let down! Anna Acton is so much better than this book.
How many times can you say “wow! Just Wow”? It nearly caused me to abandon this book but I persevered in hope.
This really was a story about not very much at all.
