About this listen
Abel Jin and Delilah Johnson have lived their lives with holes in their souls, yearning for something they don't understand. Until one night Delilah is in mortal danger, and a man who's otherworldly strong and supernaturally fast saves her. Delilah is then cast into a world where fiction comes to life in the form of Abel, her destined mate, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who claims her at first breath as his. But Abel knows the danger isn't done. He's dreamed for centuries that his mate will perish, and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
For Delilah, she's coping not only with a fantasy come to life but also with a mingling of very different families. Not to mention she has on her hands a man who doesn't understand his true nature and has lived his long life thinking he's a monster. Abel and Delilah together fill the hole that has been clawing at them for decades. But, finally finding each other, it also tips their destinies as the last of The Three. They must unite with the other destined lovers, who, with Abel and Delilah, are fated to save the world. Or die trying.

Brilliant Series
I adored this series and have read and listened to all three books numerous times, never to tire of them. Please consider a spin series for King Callum’s brothers, a werewolf series would be epic

What a finish!
What an explosive but beautiful ending. Only Kristen Ashley can make me cry happy tears!!
I loved that this because book brought together the 3 amazing narrators who voiced the 3 couples and their respective friends/family. So much talent and as always, such distinct voices for all characters and effortless switching between male & female voices; and soo expressive that it feels like I’m watching a movie in mind - I laughed out loud, was on the edge of my seat while attempting to concentrate at work, and having to step out of the office to the bathroom to hide my happy tears! Haha
The book itself was perfect - not only did it feel like we got the full story of our fine couple, growing with the characters as they develop naturally with the highs & lows, anger, hot bedroom scenes and soul deep love. But also the 3 couples coming together for a fierce final battle, in unexpected circumstances with twists and turns right through to the end. I LOVE how they brought in the humans with cutting to the various places of tuning in (you’ll understand when you listen!), just so cleverly done, shows just how much of a talented writer Kristen Ashley is. Agreed with the other review that a spin of Ables brothers would be awesome.
What a ride, highly recommend this series.
