About this listen
In the newest Night Rebel novel, set in New York Times best-selling author Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress world, beautiful, daring vampire Veritas risks all to protect Ian....
Some promises are meant to be broken....
Veritas spent most of her life as a vampire Law Guardian. Now, she’s about to break every rule by secretly hunting down the dark souls that were freed in order to save Ian. But the risks are high. For if she gets caught, she could lose her job. And catching the sinister creatures might cost Veritas her own life.
Some vows are forever....
Ian’s memories might be fragmented, but this master vampire isn’t about to be left behind by the woman who entranced him, bound herself to him, and then disappeared. So what if demons, other Law Guardians, and dangerous, otherworldly forces stand against them? Come hell or high water, Ian intends to remind Veritas of the burning passion between them, because she is the only person seared on his mind - and his soul....

Oh my --- What?!
This was brilliant! There is definitely a theme of coming to terms with your own fear and darker self in the entire night huntress world but this is the most extreme. I'd say it's also the best depiction of honest acceptance by either others or ones self.
Also ..... Total unexpected twist and mild cliffhanger ending!!

Fantastic book 2 in Ian’s Series
I can’t say much because I don’t want to give any spoilers.
Book 2 in Ian’s long anticipated series is as good as if not better than book 1. This book has heart, laughter, adventure and suspense. Leaving you on the edge of your seat wondering how the hell will they get out of this. And also a few surprises thrown in. I love this book it’s Author and Narrator. Jeaniene Frost and Tavia Gilbert are perfect together for a fun exciting listening experience.
Now the year long wait for book 3. The wait will be so worth it. Until then I have her Vlad and Cat and Bones series to re- listen to. She is one of the few Authors I listen to again and again, each time being as much fun as the first time.

***Brilliant Narrative***
I've always loved Ian his flamboyant personality is incorrigible but you can't help but love him though no matter how sleazy he can be sometimes ;) Wow I never thought the day will come that the proclaimed bachelor for life is finally in loved and besotted to his wife Veritas aka Ariel a halfling demi God. There is enough action and drama and most important romance to keep me holding my breath. The world building in any of miss Frost book is phenomenal and extremely entertaining and great value for money. Tavia Gilbert is sensational in all her narratives she is brilliant and makes listening very entertaining.

Enjoyable but ….
I love Tavia Gilbert - she would have to be my favorite narrator - but the accent for Verita was horrible and it spoilt it for me as most of the story is in her voice - whilst id love to know what happens to these 2 next i wont be listening- ill have to actually read it i guess
