A standalone thriller from the prizewinning queen of Nordic noir and author of the Thora Gudmundsdottir series.

A chilling thriller from the author of The Silence of the Sea, winner of the 2015 Petrona Award for best Scandinavian Crime Novel.

A journalist on the track of an old case attempts suicide. An ordinary couple return from a house swap in the states to find their home in disarray and their guests seemingly missing. Great Story...Average Delivery.

This is the first of Yrsa Sigurdardottir’s books that I have listened to. I really enjoyed the story, it was suspenseful and exciting. An audiobook’s narration can make or break the listening experience. I’m afraid I did not enjoy this narration.

Liar liar pants on fire

I loved this. Although a little confusing at first because of the different story lines. And the danish names confused me but once I got on top of that it was terrific. I’m going to read more by him(?)

Great performance. Story is ok.

The story was interesting but left me feeling a little cheated. Some aspects didn't add up at the end and served only to add mystery/intrigue. Really enjoyed the performance.

Not the most engaging

The story was reasonably interesting if somewhat depressing, but the shouting by the narrator was terrible. Had to keep turning the volume up and down to avoid all the unnecessary yelling.
The characters were a bit unlikeable, but I did want to find out what happened.
