Publisher's Summary
Top neurosurgeon Samantha Thomson needs to get married fast and is tightlipped as to why. And with over $200,000 on offer to tie the knot, no questions asked, cash-strapped ER nurse Hayden Perez isn't about to demand answers.
The deal is only for a year of marriage, but Hayden's going into it knowing it will be a nightmare. Sam is complicated, rude, kind of cold, and someone Hayden barely tolerates at work, let alone wants to marry. The hardest part is that Hayden has to convince everyone around them that they're madly in love and that racing down the aisle together is all they've ever wanted.

More than a romance
I fell for the characters and enjoyed what was a more detailed and complex storyline than the average romance storyline.

Great read
Storyline was really well thought out and the character development very subtle but effective. Benson is gifted in writing dialogue and building the story through small details.

Sucker for a love being obvious
I loved this book and the characters even the ones that aren’t meant to be likeable are very likeable. Well performed and written. It hit than comfy spot of inevitability love.

Classic romance novel with a few twists
While it's not my normal type of book, I was very invested in this story and it seemed to drag out but also not go long enough. I think I might even give it another listed. Well read, well written, five stars!

I quite enjoyed the journey.
the story was well written, the characters charming and the journey to romance never felt forced. the narrator's voice was a delight and I found myself smiling and laughing and hurting along with the characters. it might be one story I return to again later.

A twist on the ice queen genre
Full of witty dialogue, that endears you to the characters, this absolutely charming story by G Benson will have you wanting to listen in one session. I had to make it in two, as sleep interrupted. Do you love ice queen stories? Well here’s one with a twist. A fake marriage set in a hospital in New York. As a narrator, Tanya Eby has impeccable inflection, enabling the listener to be thoroughly immersed in the plot. Her melodic tones really enhanced the enjoyment of the story.

Great book
Strong characters and actual laugh out loud moments. Both author and narrator did a great job here. Would definitely listen to again.
