Florence Darrow wants to be a writer. Correction: Florence Darrow IS going to be a writer. Fired from her first job in publishing, she jumps at the chance to be assistant to the celebrated Maud Dixon, the anonymous best-selling novelist.
The arrangement comes with conditions - high secrecy, living in an isolated house in the countryside. So many twists!
Loved this book! Every time I thought I knew what would happen next another twist would come out! Fantastic writing and really strong story from start to finish.

What a rollicking tale!
Great story - really well set up. Great twists. Narration was perfect. I don’t usually prefer this genre but this was well done.

Wow!
Loved it. I wasn’t thrilled with the beginning but it picked up the pace and became a real page turner! The narrator was very talented.

Now this is the murder story I enjoy. Really entertaining be a great film. I’m going to look for mor works by Alexandra Andrews.
