About this listen
Elizabeth Cage is a child when she discovers that there are things in this world that only she can see. But she doesn't want to see them, and she definitely doesn't want them to see her.
What is a curse to Elizabeth is a gift to others - a very valuable gift they want to control. When her husband dies, Elizabeth's world descends into a nightmare. But as she tries to piece her life back together, she discovers that not everything is as it seems.
Alone in a strange and frightening world, she's a vulnerable target to forces beyond her control. And she knows that she can't trust anyone....
White Silence is a twisty supernatural thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Not Jodi Taylor’s Best
Perhaps it was the writing, or the performance, or a combination of both. Too many plot holes. The male protagonist, as performed, was unlikeable. I wonder why Jodi Taylor created such a weak, gullible heroine, even if to manufacture a character who is finding her power. And Jones’ voice, the male lead, as performed, was so disrespectful. I cannot see what Elizabeth found to love in him. I would carry on with the series, but just can’t bring myself to do so. Large chapters with very little happening. Much confusion. Not enough payoff.

Fabulous new series
Jodi Taylor is a weaver of exciting tales. Didn't want this to end and bought the next installment before I'd even finished this one. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Wonderful and weird
It was the kind of book that I lost interest fairly quickly, and yet, I couldn't stop listening. I hope there's a sequel!!

no use listening to this book
Could not listen to this book as had no volume enough to hear properly. I love to listen to books in the car and this one was impossible to hear, otherwise it could have been a good story but I just gave up

A whole lot of wasted hours
I have no idea why I stuck it out. The story was all over the place and incredibly boring in parts. The narrator annoyed me most of the time. I would not recommend.

Lazy writing and plot holes
I was not impressed by the writing style, the story or the characters. The psychic abilities were more believable than the character's motivations or the storyline in general. One is left with so many questions about how and why certain developments even happened. A few very lazy writing choices (in the plot and in expression) made this a good example of poor storytelling. A perfect study on why it is essential to create believable motivations behind a character's reactions/choices/development. It was an incohesive narrative with a disappointing conclusion.
