Nine years ago, 30-year-old Chelsea Taylor left the small country town of Barker to rise to the top as a concert pianist. Yet here she was, back again with her four-year-old daughter, Aria, readying herself to face her father, Tom. The father who'd shouted down the phone nine years ago never to come home again.

Where the river runs……
Decent story, but the narrator ruined it for me. Especially the little girls voice. If you can get past the sound of the voice it’s a good story.

Good story and well developed characters
Found this story intriguing and held my interest all the way through. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

Can feel the realness of this story
Was easy to get in to the story and all the ends were tied up and explained well, The little girl’s voice was grating and almost stopped me from continuing to listen. Loved the romance as it wasn’t over the top…evolved well and ended well

another great stand alone with Dectective Burrows
enjoyed it right from the get go!! only at the end did the missing pieces fall into place for me. very well done.
