Story and reader

Loved the story but I found the female reader a bit distracting.. my mind kept drifting off mid-story to wonder whether the reader was a robot or not..

Actually brilliant! fantastic story, world building, power concepts

Well written, well performed! I was surprised by the depth of world building, storyline and just how much I wanted to continue. I've read plenty of cheap, fast, feels like a half done draft stories. this is not it. Berry much looking forward to book 2

Great Voice Acting

Phenomenal voice performances. And such a beautiful writing style. The plot starts with a lot of promise although becomes very predictable and really slows down becoming more of a stagnant romance. Hopefully the next book has a bit more going on.

Great performance and storyline.

Really enjoyed this one! Hit a minor flat spot towards the end but very glad I pushed through - the ending is fantastic and I can’t wait for the next book.

Profile Image for I purchased this for $92 and it just arrived as a standard edition I am beyond mad at this point Seller has been contacted but if you didn’t have any left done falsely advertise that you have them for sale and send a standard edition in its placement without any refund or consideration to the buyer

Awesome book however…

This book took allot to get into, like any good book series I find the first book can take a good chunk of reading until it gets interesting and for me it was when Kaan entered the story.

The people doing the voices really sounded like it was AI generated. I almost quit the book at one stage because it just sounded so computer generated or methodical however I found the actor due Kaan to be a like easier on the ears, after 15 hours you get used to them but this really is my biggest gripe and why it’s not 5 ⭐️

I am keen for the next book to come out

Loved the mystery, fantasy, little hooks get you good.

A little hard to get into at the start but wait it out, it’s WORTH IT! Loved it. Cant wait for book 2.

Too many descriptive words

Way way too many descriptive words. I know it's supposed to be for world building but it just doesn't work with an audiobook. Borderline intolerable. I ended up getting the digital copy and reading it there.
The reader also speaks very dramatically which makes it super hard to listen to.
Did not finish (the audio version)

not sure what the fuss is about.

everyone keeps raving and giving 5 star reviews. I found this book boring, long winded and simple. the narration was ok but story was lacking.
