Perfect start to what I suspect will be fantastic series
Absolutely loved the book when it come out. The audiobook was on point. Loved Gabriel Italian accent - just made it so much more believable in the context of Ibiza. What a ride.. Valentina was perfect as a female lead and Damiano is definitely an alpha male but his character has many other facets. Can’t wait for the next instalment. A perfect balance between mafia and adventure 💗💗💗💗

A surprise I was not expecting
Valentina married Lazaro as arranged by her father. Damiano was effectively exiled to Ibiza after his father was killed.
When Valentina escaped her husband and took the first plane she could get a seat on, she ended up in Ibiza.
There was instant attraction between Valentina and Damiano, but that had secrets.
This was an interesting mafia type book. There was a surprise I was not expecting, and I read this book in one sitting.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good audio.
