Publisher's Summary

Sarah has no memories. She just knows she was found, near death, on a beach miles from her London home. Now she is part of a medical experiment to see whether her past can be retrieved.

But bad things seemed to have happened before she disappeared. The police are interested in her hidden memories, too. A nice man she meets in the supermarket appears to have her best interests at heart. He seems to understand her - almost as if he knows her....

As she fights to regain her memories and her sense of self, it is clear that people are hiding things from her. Who are they protecting? Does Sarah really want the truth?

Slow burn but just enough to keep me engaged

While it hardly had me on the edge of my seat it was an interesting idea with a bit of of a delve into memory/neurological stuff. As it happens i am recovering from a brain injury so found this quite interesting . The nero science seemed feasible …. i liked the main character too and the narrator did a good job of voicing her

Characters and plot

Just an awesome book full of twists and turns and a brilliant plot but easy to follow

Interesting If, at times , a little confusing

This book was an interesting concept, even if the premise has been used before.

Girl found on beach.
No memory.

Then we get to sit back and slowly ( and I mean slowly) get to uncover why, as a cast of characters from her past are carefully reintroduced to allow Sarah ‘s mind to play catch up
Until,
We finally reach the conclusion.

This story was a hard read for me, try to stay engaged through all Sarah’s psychological/medical treatments.

And I’m still not quite sure if the journey was worth the ending….

Boring, tedious,

Nearly halfway through (is there really another 8 hours of this drivel!) I decided to use it as a sleep story as it’s truly soporific. Within 15 minutes I’ve drifted off knowing I’m not missing anything because nothing ever happens.
