About this listen
The White Lich has conquered Mallon and smashed all resistance to him. Now, he marches on the north. Within weeks, Narashtovik will fall to his armies. Gask will follow.
And after that, there can be no stopping him.
Dante and Blays have a single hope of victory: the Spear of Stars, the long-lost weapon that may be capable of killing the lich. There's just one problem. Though they've learned the spear is real, they've also learned the nine parts of the weapon are guarded by the gods themselves. And they have no intention of handing over their prize.
Alone in a strange realm, with no friends or allies, and a growing list of enemies, Dante and Blays' task looks doomed.
Yet, they're the last line standing between the lich and the destruction of their whole world.

brilliantly frustrating.
this book has you wanting to jump ahead of the narrator because the big finish is edging closer and closer and closer but every little hesitation is what builds this excitement this tension to want you to get there. brilliantly written and for those whom haven't read this book yet won't add a spoiler but i found the end very very satisfying.
This book has the brilliance in its ending that wants you having more of Dante blays and co because to mention their names would only spoil it for those yet to read this book but at the same time satisfied where it has ended.
10/10 for me anyways loved it loved the series well done to an epic story.
Wonder if they could turn it into a TV series like game of thrones on a big budget without drifting or cutting out parts of the story.
