The narrator almost had me stopping every time she said 'almost', which she pronounces 'oh-most'. Once I noticed I couldn't un-hear it and I developed a bit of a nervous tic. Glad I finished, though, because this story was pretty good. I loved the banter and the interesting change of pace for this kind of novel. The big age gap was a little jarring at first, as were some of the characters' actions, but overall this was an enjoyable read.
