One of my favourites this year!

Wow, what a great listen! The narration was perfection.
I loved that the FMC was Iranian and her culture and language was mixed into the story. There was also an insight into first responder lives and struggles which was very interesting.
Although the trope of “pretend finance” was the main theme, the way they fell in love was believable and sweet. Spicy scenes were excellent too!!
The extended characters were fun and added interest for the next book, which I have already downloaded.
