Publisher's Summary
She doesn't remember that night. But she will never be the same. One moment, Dahlia is a successful Harvard student; the next, she wakes up from a party, the victim of a brutal assault. Her life veers into a tailspin, and what's worse - her memory of the attack has been ripped away, leaving a cold rage in its wake.
Now, years later, Dahlia is a tattooed paralegal suffering from PTSD and still haunted by that night. Until one day, a video surfaces online, and Dahlia sees her attack for the first time. Now she knows what happened to her. And she knows who is to blame. Her rage is no longer cold, but burning, red hot. And she is about to make everyone pay.

Great listen
This was really easy to follow, even while I work. The narrator can make all the difference while listening and I found both were great,

A powerful portrayal of trauma and survival.
This was not what I was expecting. Covers themes of trauma, difference/discrimination and survival. In parts brutal, in parts painfully gentle, this book portrays the depths of depravity humans can sink to as well as our ability to overcome the results of that depravity. Written with sensitivity.

Loved it
Excellent narrator using different accents making it easy to define characters. The storyline kept me intrigued, I didn’t want to stop listening. It was well written & there wasn’t too much graphic detail. Looking forward to other Sandra Block novels.

Unexpected twist
A great listen which kept me wanting more. The rape details are a wee bit graphic but real. Would recommend.

Powerful storyline
Appreciated the story hit on the unfortunate normalisation of rape culture in college/university life and how survivors go through life differently. Loved that it was from different perspectives

Riveting listening!!!
I loved listening to this story. The fact that everything told completed and complimented the storyline. There were no waffly bits that didn’t need to be in it. Highly recommended.

Wow!
Powerful storey and great narration. This is an important expose of the tragedy of gender conflict in several of its forms. It’s a must read.

Intriguing Read About Revenge and Triumph
First time listen/ read by this author and I found this story to be very suspenseful as well as emotional.
There were moments where Daliah made some very rash decisions that only made life a lot harder for her but in the end she got her revenge.
Bit sad about the impact some of these events took on her long term friendships though.
But in the end she got her justice.
