Ari Abrams loves working as a TV meteorologist. But unfortunately, her boss is so busy fighting with her ex—who happens to be the station's news director—that there's always a storm brewing inside the newsroom! After a particularly explosive showdown, Ari and shy sports reporter Russell hatch a plan to get their bosses back together, fast....

As they work to help the sparring exes fall back in love, Ari finds herself telling Russell things that she has always kept hidden—and soon realises there's more to her quiet colleague than meets the eye.

It seems like love might have been in front of Ari all along. But will Russell be able to embrace her dark clouds, as well as her clear skies?

The cutest

This is adorable! Full five stars! The narrators were fantastic!

The information about Ari’s job was great. I adored all of the different perfect and imperfect relationships throughout - mother daughter, happy mixed family, unhappy ex husband and wife, loving brother and sister, dad and daughter, the loving Aunty and the perfect match couple with twins! The depression representation was done so well.
Would recommend this to the typical romance reader, anyone that loves a little match maker scheming and who laughs in the face of awkward moments.

RLS has not disappointed me, an author that is going on my “automatic read” list of any new release.

Meh

This was a relatively sweet read and I really liked the Authors depiction of depression and the effect it had on out main characters relationships. However I never really felt the connection between her and Russle, it felt forced. she was way to forgiving for some of his comments and I felt he could have fought harder for their relationship. It was simply Meh! easy listen but not much more than that.

original story

Rachel writes real characters. Imperfect and relatable. Insecure at times and bumbling through life like everyone else. I personally enjoyed the mental health representation which gave Ari so much depth.
