About this listen

Everyone around Anna was worried about something—the perfect prom dress, getting a date, their impending graduation. But not Anna. These were all just flickers of thought in the back of her mind.

Her worry was the survival of her people and her pack. Anna was a werewolf, and even though she was only 17 years of age, she was the leader of their pack. Last year, someone had begun hunting the pack again, targeting Anna's family specifically because of their influence and role in leadership. When Anna's mother went missing, her father, Finn, put almost everything else aside to try and find her, but his search was in vain. There was no sign of Abigale until the man who had taken her wanted to be found. He had killed Anna's mother and would have killed Anna as well if several others hadn't come to the rescue. Anna lost not only her mother that night but James, her childhood friend and boyfriend as well.

But that was almost a year ago now, and things were finally settling back into a normal routine. It seemed like Anna and her pack had finally found peace. Or had they?
