About this listen
The Nelsons have grown in just about every way since being exiled to Eloria.
Now they will face their biggest challenge yet. For all that they thought they had begun to understand what faced them, it has now become apparent that there are larger forces at work and more powerful enemies behind the scenes.
The monstrous dark mage Seimion seems almost unstoppable with a host of fiends at his command and behind him is the mysterious Master.
If they are to save not only their home but the very kingdom of Albia from utter chaos, all of the Nelson's will be required. For the first time the two youngest, Jackson and Sara, will be called upon to play vital roles.
Join the Nelsons in their Life in Exile in this exciting third installment of this Amazon best-selling LitRPG series.

Impressive
Only minor issue I have is some of the internal character monologues diverge from motivations and situational context.
While I know this is something the author intends for character growth/ understanding of a facet of the magic system, it’s extremely dissonant once you become invested.
Saying that, you WILL become invested in this awesome family of survivors.

Entertaining but irritating.
The overall story was enjoyable, just like the last two but the sexism is getting out of control. Male characters are portrayed as week, incompetent, stupid and uncapable of making a logical decision, even throe most ARE logical and just about anything a male does is guaranteed to piss off a female for some week reason or another. Female characters are strong, independent, perfect, make no mistakes and every decision they make is totally the right one. They get justifiably angry and upset at ANY action that gets decided by a man, because its totally wrong and they SHOULD of been asked to make the decisions in the first place. So if you can just ignore the fact that the 2 main characters are supposed to me CO-rulers, yet the male is never allowed to make even one decision on his own, with checking with his wife first. Then you can still enjoy this book.
