About this listen
His music could have made Damien Cantwell the star of his generation. But living fast has its consequences, and Damien soon finds himself spiraling into a dark world full of unfettered debauchery and brutal violence. The horrors of drug addiction are painted in sharp, biting prose in this novel about throwing away everything and finding that some things are too precious to lose.

An honest account of the wild life drug taking can take one on.
Potentially, studying these true accounts in school could prevent the ravaging effect of addiction in many cases, it is a slippery slope, one minute having fun with friends spirals into desperate measures to continue the party, a party that ruins everything. I was saddened to hear of his death, but that was the one thing I would have bet on.

Dreary narration
An interesting book made unbearable to listen to by the monotone, robotic sounding voice reading it. How on earth this guy got a job recording audio books is beyond me

Feels like an R rated Dhar Mann adventure.
Cookie cutter characters that lack any substance beyond their service to the story. Devoid of humanity.
