Unexpected!
So when i first heard about this book it was pretty negative, mainly people talking about how the character named Bramblestar was treating Squirrelflight with alot of disrespect. So i was coming into this book preparing for it to just frustrate me and not like it very much. (Possible spoilers ahead) In the first part we get introduced into the newest problem, all the clan leaders were upset about the new borders because the part of the land they had to give up is now being wasted. Which you know they always complain about borders so no suprise there. (but a bit frustrating) Squirrelflight then remembers about a unused peice of land above Thundedclan and suggests the idea. Horrible mistake. Then Squirrelflight decides to go go that area with Leafstar and they meet some cats but i won't spoil that .And so until the middleish part of the book it's mainly Bramblestar rejecting Squirrelflights ideas. Then interesting stuff starts to happen like a new mysterious sickness striking cats down and stopping there heartbeat immediately, you know normal stray cat stuff. A cat gives birth and yeah stuff like that. THEN THE LAST 10 CHAPTERS COME AROUND. The last bits of the book are awesome i won't spoil it but it is great! And then the book and then after a sad and happyish moment the book ends.
TLDR, I came into the book expecting it to disappoint but i was wrong!
didn't annoy me and got me hooked into the book!
And the reader did a fantastic job, normally when the reader speaks in a child's voice it's very squeaky and annoying (or atleast in crookedstars promise) but this reader
didn't annoy me and got me hooked into the book!
I would definitely recommend this book!
