About this listen

The author's father sadly died of oesophageal cancer during the writing of this novel. Tim also had to push through his own anxiety, learning difficulties and severe mental health illness to bring you this amazing novel.

Inspired by the upcoming title from Flipswitch Games, the 2005 motion picture and of course the original 1898 novel. But this very unique retelling, takes the story we all know and turns it on its head, also taking inspiration from one of the game's modes. This follows the events of the invasion but through the eyes of the invaders themselves!

Climb aboard the 'Tripod' as we enter the mind of an alien pilot, exploring his own thoughts, emotions and opinions. Also shares some of his personal experiences from both both past and present as he helps to conquer the earth! It also features two different optional endings.
