About this listen
They call me beautiful. They call me a monster. Soon, they'll call me death.
This action-packed reverse harem fantasy/paranormal romance features one hell of strong woman and her four powerful supernatural mates. It contains brutal battles, explicit love scenes, raw language, magic, swordfights, Greek gods, dark fae, vampires, shifters, and a lot of assholes.
The boxed set edition contains steamy bonus novella The Court of the Beginning and the End.
As a direct descendant of the God of Death, Cassandra Saélihn is considered the most dangerous monster of all time. Her own mother locks her in a cage to protect the world from her.
Cass thought this jail would be her world for a lifetime, but then four sexy, formidable warriors - a vampire lord, twin fae princes, and a demigod - find her.
They claim she's not a monster, but a powerful weapon.
The Olympian gods have begun to destroy the Earth with a vengeance, and only she can stop and kill them. But Cass has a mind of her own and can't be told what to do, no matter how drawn she is to her four warrior saviors.
To their dismay, the four warriors can't tame the wild, cunning, and volatile Cass. But they have a bigger problem - their growing attraction toward her.
To turn the woman they desire into the ultimate weapon and ensure Earth's survival, they'll have to conquer her body and heart, which seems even harder than winning the war against the atrocious gods. But nothing turns these alpha males on more than an impossible dare. And nothing turns Cass on more than being stalked.
The box set includes:
- A bonus novella: A Court of the Beginning and the End
- Book 1: A Court of Blood and Void
- Book 2: A Court of Fire and Metal
- Book 3: A Court of Fire and Metal
- Book 4: A Court of Earth and Aether

Amazing Series!
COURT OF BLOOD AND VOID
This book was amazing! I am listening to this series as an audiobook and bought the first four books in one version. This first one is amazing and I am going to keep listening to the rest of them because this is both an awesome book and because I love this narrator who adds that kind of sensuality to the voice of the female protagonist. Also, Cassandra (Cass) is an amazing, kickass character who doesn't take shit from anyone which I love and find very inspiring. Not everyone will love this story and Cass but if you do, this is an amazing book to read. This ending had a cliffhanger but because I have the other three, this won't bother me, however, if you are reading it separately and think you will like it, be prepared to read the second book. I don't regret reading this book and would definitely recommend it to those who like this genre. I loved this book!
A COURT OF FIRE AND METAL
This book was amazing! I listened to this as an audiobook and loved Victoria Mei and her voice that added emotion and sensuality to the story. The ending chapter is the first one to not be in Cass's perspective and is instead in the view of one of her mates. The new things Cass is learning just adds to her badass behaviour and the sensuality between each of her mates and her just gets better. This is the second book to the War of the Gods series and there is no regret or disappointment, this series so far has been amazing, and I bet the next books will be even better. I would definitely recommend it to those who like this genre and have read the first book and loved it. I loved this book!
A COURT OF ICE AND WIND
WOW! An amazing finish to that book as well as beginning. This is an amazing book that just keeps getting better and better. Cass, while still viewed as a portion of what she is destined to be, is an amazing, kick-ass character who doesn't take shit from anyone. Her strength is unbelievable with her past and horrors she has had to endure. Not everyone will love this story and Cass but if you do, this is an amazing book to read. This ending had a cliffhanger but because I have the last book as well, this won't bother me, however, if you are reading it separately and think you will like it, be prepared to read the last book. I don't regret reading this book and would definitely recommend it to those who like this genre. I loved this book!
A COURT OF EARTH AND AETHER
This was an amazing book! A lovely finish with happy endings, as all good books have. This review is mainly going to repeat the books before, but it is because all these books are so amazing. Meg Xuemei X is an amazing author who wrote this awesome book series, with Victoria Mei and her amazing voice that added emotion and sensuality to the story. This book just got better and better as it went on, with an even better finish. By the way, this has the absolute cutest ending ever. If you have already gotten to the third book, then reading this is a must and an amazing way to end the series. I don't regret reading this book and would definitely recommend this series to those who like this genre. I loved this book!

fantasy, dragons, magic, shapes hitters, vamps
I would have liked a male voice as well. as there were 4 males, a masculine voice would have done the book more justice.

Meh. . hard listen
the story at it's heart was enjoyable but the main character is beyond childish, entitled and annoying. constantly repeats herself and honestly doesn't really do anything throughout the majority of the book except runaway and complain leaving any action to her "mate's". if they were broken up into individual books I doubt I would have bought another after the 1st

Couldn’t keep listening.
I hate to feel compelled to leave a negative review but I gotta. I really wish I hadn’t used a credit on this. I’m all for the strong AF female but … this ain’t it (imho).
I couldn’t get past seeing the MC as a childish, petulant, whining, self indulgent, unthinking and uncaring brat with … no redeeming characteristics as far as I’ve encountered in the nearly excruciating 9 hours I pushed through. Most of the time/attention is given to the MC’s annoying inner monologue. Sex, action, world building, storyline, and interaction dynamics take a second seat to her unintelligent and uninteresting thoughts and immature, unsophisticated and self indulgent ‘dominance’ tantrums/fits of rudeness. Other people are only given attention in the MC’s world in so much as she uses them for her selfish and shallow needs. No respect or consideration except for how others can further her goals, meet her needs/desires. I could go on but we all have different tastes (thankfully) and I now know that this kind of female - entitled as someone articulated in a previous review - just doesn’t vibe with me. I like high integrity characters. I think I’d like the narrator’s work elsewhere but she did the petulant self absorbed brat so well I just couldn’t listen to another word.
