Publisher's Summary
The Emperor's vision of mankind ascendant lies in tatters. The Great Crusade is naught but a fading memory.
The dream of Unity is no more. But with Horus' rebellion spreading to every corner of the Imperium and war engulfing new worlds and systems almost daily, there are some who now ask: were the signs there to be seen all along?
In these dark times, only one thing is certain - the galaxy will never know peace again, not in this lifetime or a thousand others....
Full list of authors includes James Swallow, Nick Kyme, Chris Wraight, Rob Sanders and Andy Smillie.

Great. But David Annandale
As the title says. The majority of the authors and narrators were great but what prevented a 5 star was author David Annandale. Every book I have read and listened to of his has been utterly boring and miserable. It is no wonder he gets the less important and inconsequential stories of Horus Heresy. I literally role my eyes every time I see his name to a book and can pick out his writing style everytime if I don't look at the authors name. Please Dave be more exciting and take few notes from Aaron. I cling to every word Aaron's books and read some of them twice.

Listen
Definitely worth it. The separate short stories tie together the larger picture of the previous novels. Some give history. Others, plot advances. Some great stories and narrations to be found!
