The plot! The narrator!
I have never listened to a book that has made me laugh literally out loud or gasp in front of strangers. The plot had amazing twists and the narrator just really brought them to life and made funny lines hilarious. A definite re-read

Exemplary narration
Nathan Foad's narration was excellent. So many distinct voices. Captivating to listen to.
The story felt somewhat familiar at the beginning but there were twists and turns aplenty and the characters were interesting and charming, a very enjoyable listen.
Always happy to enter a world in which sexuality and gender require no explanations or trauma. They just exist in all of their diverse beauty while story unfolds around them

Loved it
I fell in love with the all characters, their complexities, histories and motivations.
I was completely endeared by our anti-protagonist and the narration was absolutely superb. Beautifully crafted story!!!
