About this listen

He grabbed her by the shoulders, lifted her from the seated position, and gave her a shake. Her back hit the twisted trunk of the almond tree; he asked, “how could you"?

At that instant, the almond tree shook back and she landed inside his arms. While the young couple was in this position, all around them, the pink flower petals of the almonds fell off the tree. They separated, whilst looking up at the tree, astonished to see that all the branches were bare. He took a slow step back, away from her, and looked at the angelic person in front of him. He was staring at her; she was covered in pink flower petals. The flowers were all over her head, shoulders, blouse, and dress.

She looked beautiful. He was madly in love with her, nonetheless, walked away. She called after him. He did not turn around, but kept walking.

She leaned back onto the tree, staring at the back of her companion, who was now disappearing into the distance.

He was gone.
