About this listen

It’s a place that we all want to go. The islands of Puget Sound and specifically Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. It’s a peaceful beautiful place with a small population of unique and interesting characters. A fishing industry that is always busy and yet there are also causal fishermen that are always fishing but never catching anything.

Characters that we can all understand and identify. A new deputy sheriff, Vince Murphy, has moved here with his kids. He’s been raising them on his own since his wife left him while they were still infants. Only where he was working in law enforcement has become a lot more dangerous over the years.

Now Vince is hoping to move to a more peaceful place, to work until retirement and still be around for his kids. He’s not looking for another woman. He’s focusing on doing right by his kids and working at his new job. Small town cop. Small town police force. And so it begins…
