Publisher's Summary

A town of magic and danger, where what one dons becomes who they are.

A desperate priestess in another world calling for a champion, only to receive an unstoppable monster.

A night of joy and giving, of grudges and combat, all as the winter snow falls.

Between grand adventures, what mishaps may occur in the world of the Villains' Code? These are the smaller selections, short sagas within the greater story.

Where's the rest? I need MOORRRRRRE!!

Story 1: Damn funny, well written as always. Drew's love of Halloween shows and makes this tale extra great.

Story 2: OK, so I'ma need the rest of this situation right here. Hopefully soon. Like yesterday. Preferably in a trilogy novel or something. This is just too interesting!

Story 3: ... DAMMIT DREW! Ya just had to make me cry when I wasn't expecting it, didn't ya?! *grumble grumble stupid sweet touching Christmas wholesome stories grumble grumble*

TL;DR - Read this book. No, really. Stop what you're doing and go read it now.

Something to tie me over until book 3

if you liked book 1 and 2 and are chomping at the bit for book 3 to come out, this is a great little lick of the lollie to tie you over.
the Christmas and Halloween short stories were especially light hearted and fun.

Not what I hoped for.

This is my favorite book series and I’ve been counting down the days for this one to come out.

Sadly, this book wasn’t for me. I was hoping for some slice of life from the different side characters maybe a heist with the favorite side villains. Hear more about the “Island villain queen”.

Instead it read more like a collection of Fornax fanfics.
Like, I like the dude just fine. But all 3 stores where centered about him.
He better be dying in the next book, for him to have been the main character on this one.
